Watch Legion Online

Be careful. You might be deceived by the new action/horror film, Legion, when it opens in late January. If you watch Legion online, notice the distinct absence of vampires. No werewolves, either. Before you start to assume you’re in the wrong place to see a creepy movie trailer, let me assure you. You’re not. It’s just a whole new team of bad guys, and you’ll never believe who they are. If you did watch Legion online, you’ve figured out by now that in this film, angels are filling the much-coveted spots more recently reserved for those darlings of the horror genre, the zombies. You DID catch that, didn’t you?

The two best reasons to watch Legion online surely are Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid. Argue if you want, but is there anyone that looks more like an archangel than Bettany? It’s quite a switch from a beer swilling, belching John Travolta as the same angel, Michael, but if you can’t live with that, this is probably not the movie for you. It may not be the movie for me, either, if they kill off Dennis Quaid. It’s hard to predict when you watch Legion online. It’s probably worth going to see if he makes it or not. I’m unconditionally a fan of Quaid’s, but it worried me when I saw another familiar face. I clicked over to watch Legion online again, to be sure.

Just as I suspected, the angel Gabriel is played by Kevin Durand, the best bad guy on film for a long time, I think. Even if you’re not a fan of Lost, you’ll probably recognize him from a number of other movies when you watch Legion online. Surely, he’s the Robert “Terminator” Patrick of the new millennium. Legion is the directorial debut for Scott Stewart, who also wrote the story. Stewart, though, is no newcomer to the film industry. He’s backed by almost 15 years of some impressive visual effects work on such movies as Mars Attacks!, Sin City and Night at the Museum. Watch Legion online to see Bettany, as Gabriel, defending the human race from a very cranky celestial choir. I’m guessing this might be fun to see, no matter what Quaid’s fate turns out to be. With what looks like killer special effects, who knows? Angels could end up being the next big movie trend. They’re certainly tough enough. If you doubt that, well ........ didn’t you wonder where all the vampires went?
